The dead internet theory is no longer a theory, if you ask me. There are bots everywhere, on all platforms, and they are incessant.
You can usually tell a bot from a real person by its cadence in how they type, or how quickly they respond to a post, or on Twitter/X if they have a blue checkmark and are doing both. It’s not a guarantee, but it’s a pretty safe bet.
