John Rankin reckons a sombre moment in the Hamilton Accies camp this week has shown the unity within his squad.
The club attended a funeral on Tuesday after a family member of one of their staff passed away in December and he believes his players are showing a real togetherness on and off the pitch that can help galvanize the squad for the challenges ahead this season.
Accies have been struggling at the bottom of the Scottish Championship this season, but picked up their first win since October when they beat Morton 1-0 last Saturday - ending a run of seven straight defeats.
