Solo travel deals have been extended by easyJet holidays banishing costly single supplements on departures until October 2024. The pledge applies to all bookings made by the end of this month in a boost to holidaymakers travelling alone and single parent families.
It is also continuing the solo parent discount, meaning single parents and one adult families travelling with children can make savings on a huge selection of holidays.
A discount of £50 per adult and £25 a child - first offered in February - applies to holidays with a minimum spend of £800 using a ONEADULT promotional code. The tour operator has reported that 70 per cent of single bookings have been solo travellers whilst the remainder were single parent families.
Commercial director Paul Bixby said: “Since launching our one adult discount back in February, we’ve seen a significant increase in holidaymakers choosing one adult breaks, so we’re really pleased to be offering this great value deal for another year.
“It’s so important to us to make sure our unforgettable holidays are accessible to everyone, so I’m really proud that we’re enabling single parents and solo travellers the opportunity to holiday their way, across our selection of Europe’s most loved hotels.
“We look forward to providing more brilliant holiday experiences for our customers.”
Meanwhile, easyJet holidays has also added thousands more free child places for summer 2023, as it sees growing demand from families booking ahead to next summer.
The tour operator is now offering free child places on over 200 hotels, with tens of thousands of spots available for next summer and adults paying from just £377 per person on a variety of holidays and destinations, from Turkey, to Spain and Greece, which sees an additional 40 hotels offering great value for families.
