Soccer AM's Tubes suffered 'very unexpected and major heart attack', star confirms

Tubes from Soccer Am has suffered a 'very unexpected and major heart attack'.

The crew member, well-known for his funny interviews and comedy gags, took to his Instagram to share a picture of himself in hospital and thanked surgeons for their 'quick and efficient work'.

Tubes, real name Peter Dale, 35, posted: "On Sunday I suffered a very unexpected major heart attack. Can’t thank the surgeons and staff at St. Peters hospital Chertsey and the Ambulance crew enough.

"If it wasn’t for your quick and efficient work I may not have been writing this message now. Thank you.

"Plenty of work to do and surgery to have but I’m slowly on the road to recovery. Big love, yours in foooooooootball. Tubes x."

Tubes has been a regular on the show over several years proving a popular member of the long-running Saturday morning programme.

He had a regular feature on Soccer AM where he would ask one of the celebrity guests 'one question and one question only'.
