SNP accuse 'London-based BBC overlords' of 'disdain for Scotland' after channel cut

CUTS to BBC Scotland are due to “London-based overlords” who have no desire to cater to people north of the Border, the SNP have alleged.

After the announcement of the closure of BBC Scotland as a linear channel – which will reportedly mean the direct loss of 10 jobs – SNP national secretary Alex Kerr accused BBC executives of having a “disdain for Scottish broadcasting and our journalists”.
