Over the weekend, 'Saturday Night Live Weekend Update' hosts addressed recent controversies surrounding hip-hop stars Ye and Diddy. The show's hosts discussed a lawsuit filed against Ye by a former employee, alleging instances of anti-Black racism, homophobic, and antisemitic behavior. The lawsuit claimed that Ye made troubling comparisons, including likening himself to Hitler without the gas chambers.
Shifting focus to Diddy, the hosts highlighted an awkward moment from a past episode of 'Live with Kelly & Mark,' where Kelly Ripa expressed a desire to be on Diddy's yacht. This resurfaced clip now seems ill-timed given the ongoing investigation into Diddy's alleged sexual misconduct and his son Christian Combs' involvement in a sexual assault lawsuit related to an incident on a yacht chartered by Diddy.
