This is the dramatic moment flames and smoke billowed from a derelict building in Trafford after a fire broke out.
The fire broke out at the detached property in Barton Road, Urmston, at about 7pm today (Saturday). A video taken at the scene showed huge plumes of black smoke billowing from the building.
Flames could be seen pouring from a window on the ground floor. The clip also showed firefighters arriving at the scene and attempting to put out the fire.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At approximately 7pm on Saturday, 1st April, firefighters were called to reports of a building fire on Barton Road, in Urmston.
“Three fire engines from Stretford, Sale and Eccles quickly attended the scene. The fire involves a derelict detached property.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using hose reel jets, a positive pressure ventilation fan and other specialist equipment to extinguish the fire. Fire crews remain in attendance at this time.”
