Stunning photos give a first look inside a selection of new safari lodges built in the UK where visitors can sleep next to giraffes and rhinos.
The luxury accommodation, which opened on Friday, April 15, allows guests to come face-to-face with the animals at West Midlands Safari Park. Eight two-storey lodges have been integrated into the enclosures, giving people staying there unobstructed views of the animals - for £490 a night.
The white rhino lodges sleep up to six people and are described by the attraction in Bewdley, Worcs., as the only experience of its kind in the UK. They feature an open-plan living space, a secluded "chill out nest" which doubles up as a cosy double bed and has a balcony offering ground-level views of the rhinos.
