Thousands of boxing fans were left disappointed on Sunday night, with BT Sport Box Office's coverage of Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul being subject to crashes before and during the main event.
Interest in the fight was huge, with Fury beating 'The Problem Child' Paul at a star-studded event in Saudi Arabia, with the split decision win going against pre-fight odds. However, many were left disappointed with issues for Sky Glass customers cutting fans out of the closing stages of the fight.
In addition to this, some fans watching on the BT Sport Box Office web app were kicked off the stream prior to the contest, with those who lost their access being asked to pay again before being presented with a loading screen. The fight cost £19.95, with high demand for a highly anticipated fight on a platform which is used to streaming big events having broadcast Tyson Fury fights for a number of years

Sky Glass customers have already been informed that they will receive a refund for the fight, with a text being sent to customers following the widespread issue. However, those who suffered issues with the web app will have to receive their refunds in the coming days, with each case being different.
A message to customers read: "We are aware you had an issue with the Paul v Fury event last night on Sky Glass/Stream. We are sorry for this and will not charge you for this event."
