A grieving mum whose little boy died in front of her after he was hit by a van says she constantly 'relives' the tragedy. Joanne Colleran lost her six-year-old son Bobby Colleran in the horror collision on Leyfield Road in West Derby.
Eight years on from his tragic death in October 2014, the parent said her family's heartbreak has never eased with time. Last week, Joanne was taking her other three sons to school when they drove past the aftermath of a crash at the junction of Deysbrook Lane, Croxteth Hall Lane, and Princess Drive in West Derby.
A teenage boy had been knocked off his electric bike during the accident on September 20 and was taken to hospital with a serious head injury. Joanne says the incident brought all the emotions flooding back from the day Bobby was killed.
