Multiple victims of crime chased a suspected scrap metal thief before his allegedly stolen truck fatally collided with a car on the wrong side of a highway, police say.
The Isuzu truck was travelling south in the northbound lanes of the Bruce Highway, north of Brisbane, about 10.30pm on Tuesday when it smashed head on with a Honda Accord, killing the car driver.
