Six arrested after death of boy, 1, at nursery is treated as 'suspicious'

The death of a one-year-old boy is being treated as suspicious, with six arrests being made in relation to circumstances that police are branding 'suspicious'.

All six detainees are women, who have been arrested after the youngster died at a premises on Bourne Street, Dudley, on December 9 last year.

Three of whom, aged 20, 23, and 50, were arrested on December 16 on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter, and have since been released on bail under stringent conditions - while police continue their enquiries.
