Sir Michael Caine has been spotted using a walking frame to help him get around London, as he enjoyed a day out with his wife Shakira.
The 89-year-old actor also had an assistant to hold onto his arm and support him as he walked.
Sir Michael wore a smart blue shirt, black trousers and a waterproof jacket. He paired this with a baseball cap and dark sunglasses.
Shakira, 75, wore a long white shirt and tied a light blue jumper around her shoulders. She added a casual touch to the look by sporting a pair of trainers.
This isn't the first time Sir Michael has been seen using a walking frame.
In 2018, he was left with a broken ankle after falling on ice and had switched between a walking stick and a frame ever since.
Last year, the legendary actor caused some confusion among fans as he claimed he hasn't retired on Twitter, before telling BBC Radio’s Kermode and Mayo’s Film Review that his latest film Best Sellers would be his last.
He said: "I got this alcoholic part and, funnily enough, it has turned out to be my last part, really."
He added: "I haven’t worked for two years and I have a spine problem which affects my legs so I can’t walk very well.
The actor has also cut down on booze in a bid to have as much time as possible to spend with his young grandchildren Taylor, 12 and 11-year-old twins Miles and Allegra.
He said his diet has also improved as part of the health kick.
He said: "I’ve decided to live a bit longer.
"I’ve cut down on the drink and got a new outlook on life. I thought I wasn’t going to have grandchildren, and suddenly I have three.
"They’re my fountain of youth and have given me a new lease of life without any of the worries or troubles. I’m completely besotted and so is my wife."
Caine has two daughters, Dominique – whose mother is his first wife, actress Patricia Haines – and Natasha, from his second, Shakira Baksh.
He married Shakira back in 1973. Sir Michael credits his wife as the person who helped him to cut down on the booze.
