Sir Billy Connolly decided to stay local as he celebrated his 80th birthday on Thursday (November 24), by visiting a popular café in the Milngavie area of Glasgow.
The Big Yin has been spotted at the Jessie Biscuit in Milngavie earlier in November, and decided to keep up the trend by visiting on his special day. Glasgow Times reports that it is thought that Billy loves the café due to its name - as it happened to be a nickname he was given as a young boy.
Baristas and staff from the establishment were delighted to welcome Sir Billy on his birthday, and shared the exciting visit on their social media.
