Hotel Brooklyn in Portland Street has been sold for £24.1m by Roundapple Hotel Partners

It opened its doors for the first time in February 2020 and includes two food and beverage outlets, three meeting rooms as well as a casino with a restaurant and bar.

The move comes after the hotel was sold to a private party in May 2021.

It was sold in an off-market deal by Marshall CDP, represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Hospitality team.

The hotel was named in the top 20 'hottest new hotels' in the world for 2021 at the Traveller's Choice Best of the Best awards.

A statement said: "The Property appeals to both corporate and leisure guests being within walking distance to the central business district (Spinningfields), as well as popular tourist attractions such as the Manchester Art Gallery, retail areas such as Market Street and entertainment hubs such as the Manchester Arena.

"The acquisition of the Property allows CDLHT to further penetrate the lifestyle hotel market.

"These lifestyle hotels are designed to appeal to the next generation traveller with unique designs, strong identities and story-telling potential, and cater to the growing demand for distinct and curated experiences.

"With its growing stable of lifestyle hotels, CDLHT’s hotel portfolio will be augmented with better alignment with prevailing trends in the global market of strong consumer appetite for such hotels."

The deal comes after funds controlled by Zetland Capital Partners agreed to acquire the 338-bedroom Macdonald Manchester Hotel from Macdonald Hotels & Resorts in November 2021.
