Simon Thomas has announced the early arrival of his newborn daughter with his wife Derrina, who went into labour eight weeks early.
The former Blue Peter presenter, 49, shared the news of his daughter's arrival on Instagram as he shared a series of images documenting the birth on his Instagram.
Simon shared four photos with his 102,000 followers; one showing his wife shortly after the arrival of their newborn.
