A sick man who pointed a loaded weapon to his head outside a busy hospital has been spared a prison sentence.
Donald Coleman was the man behind a 12-hour police operation on November 3 last year after he dialled 999 and told the operator he wished to kill himself with a Russian semi automatic gun.
Armed police raced to the scene forcing road closures and ambulances to be diverted to other hospitals causing 'severe disruption' during an already busy period due to the pandemic.
