Shoppers praise Lakeland 10p an hour gadget that heats up in MINUTES and gets rid of mould

High street home appliance giant Lakeland has sent shoppers wild with a 10p an hour gadget that heats up any room in a matter of minutes - without the need for central heating. Shoppers who have purchased the 10p an hour Lakeland gadget have also said that it helps to eliminate mould, as well as slashing energy bills..

Lakeland's Dry:Soon Deluxe 3-Tier Heated Airer has already proven a huge hit with shoppers - despite its £199.99 price tag. It's not affordable for everyone, but for those who can afford to buy one, it's a brilliant investment that will significantly reduce heating bills.

While the Lakeland gadget hasn't been designed as a heater, when we reviewed it, we found we didn't need to turn the central heating on because it heated up so quickly and efficiently. Other shoppers have also found the same.

Lakeland's Dry:Soon Deluxe 3-Tier Heated Airer sold out quickly last time it was in stock. But it is now available to buy again, and is set to fly off shelves.

The Lakeland 10p an hour heated airer has racked up hundreds of five-star reviews online from shoppers who have noticed a significant change to their energy bills after using it. One five-star reviewer wrote: "This airer gently dries your clothes, uses less electric then a tumble dryer and folds away flat for easy storage, win win."

Another said: "I love this heated airer, wouldn't be without it! We don't own a tumble dryer, so this airer has been an absolute godsend in the cold weather. I usually hang my washing up at night, and everything is dry by morning. So handy!" A third raved: "Since I started using this my clothes dry in a matter of hours. Due to the heating being so expensive having my clothes on a regular clothes horse wasn't drying as quick, sometimes taking up to 2/3 days to dry. Not only that due to the clothes being damp, It would cause my mould to pop up on areas of my house where the clothes where being hung up to dry. Thankfully using the heated airer with the cover has stopped the mould from sprouting and doesn't take days to dry."

A fourth person said: "Although I have a tumble dryer I don’t use it because of the expense, so I have been using non electric dryers up until now. The difference that my new electric dryer has made is almost unbelievable as I don’t have wet clothes hanging about for nearly as long. I also have more space, in my house as I can manage with just one dryer. The dryer is also providing heat in a part of the house that was always cold. I’m thrilled with with my new purchase. Thank you Lakeland."

Yet another impressed Lakeland fan said: "A very useful airer. It uses very little electricity (and as I have solar panels dries clothes at almost no cost). Fully erected it holds quite a large amount of clothing although you can use it with the rails and side supports on one side folded down to take up less space. The airer is gentler to your clothing as it does not produce the fluff a tumble drier does. I also have the cover which speeds up drying as it can take 8 hours to dry a fully loaded airer."

"Love this product. Dry clothes and warms upstairs where I use it. Easy to move about and folds flattish. Great buy," said somebody else. Another shopper gave the heated airer five stars, writing: "Bought his airer just as energy price hikes were being announced, hoping to use this instead of my tumble dryer. So far, so good. I hang my washing outside as much as I can before using this airer so that washing is just damp. I then lay the washing flat on the top (except for small/lightweight items, which I hang over the bars), folding arms across tops and folding trousers in half. Granted, yes I do have to turn washing around and refold mid way through, but I’m saving so much on drying costs, that I don’t really find this bad. To help, I have a small dehumidifier to take away any moisture."
