With the cost of living crisis putting a strain on millions of people's energy bills, pretty much everyone is now looking for ways to slash the amount they're paying out in electricity every month. As a result, countless people have ditched their ovens and replaced them with a more cost-friendly alternative - the air fryer.
These days it's hard to find someone who doesn't have an air fryer in their household, as the kitchen gadgets are considerably cheaper than using the oven or microwave. But air fryers, too, have their downside, and can prove difficult to clean after cooking greasy items inside.
But shoppers have discovered a £1.75 Wilko product which gets your air fryer sparkling clean almost instantly. And you may already have some in your cupboard.

Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, Liz Bradley said: "A game changer for me if uve got an air fryer and you can’t get grease of basket put some over basket and add boiling water and leave to steep then wipes straight off I was really amazed."
The best value bicarbonate of soda we found online was a 500g box from Wilko, which will set you back £1.75. However, boxes of the bicarbonate of soda are currently on a three for £3.50 offer - which works out at £1.17 per box.
