Air fryers are a popular kitchen gadget and this year, many people may find them under the tree.
They are popular for a reason with consumer champions Which? having said they are indeed 'worth the hype' after data found they could be much cheaper to run than an oven.
The experts say not only can you get "equally good or better cooking results" by using it, but it's also "three times cheaper" to run compared to ovens. This year they have proved very popular on Christmas lists across the globe and this is only set to continue with people now switching off the ovens.

The recent research by Which? is part of the consumer site's Money-Saving Monday series. They found that kitchen appliances such as air fryers, microwaves, pressure cookers and slow cookers, can all have cheaper running costs than conventional ovens when cooking various food items.
Because of this, we looked at the cheapest air fryer that gets great reviews, according to Argos shoppers. Here's what we found...
The Tower T17023 Compact Air Fryer costs £45 and is currently, at the time of writing, one of their most popular sellers. It has a 4.6 star rating out of five thanks to 1527 reviews.
Leaving their thoughts after trying the product one reviewer said: "Easy to use and great results. Cooks the food perfectly I wish that I had bought one sooner."
Another added: "Bought this a couple of weeks ago having been recommended by family. It's quick and very easy to use and it's great not having to use the oven all the time for small items."
"Didn't really know anything about air fryers so was a bit dubious about buying one but so glad I did. We haven't used our conventional oven for weeks now. At first I thought the draw looked a bit too small but now having used it for a few weeks it is ideal for two people. It's so easy too use and clean. Got it for a great price at Argos." wrote a third.
A fourth even packed it with them adding: "I've only used it once, is potable and easy to pack for holiday."
