Shoppers demand new Quality Street product dubbing latest 'ready for the bin'

Shoppers have called for a popular festive chocolate company to add more iconic favourites to their new line of separate bagged treats.

Quality Street, famous for their tins of chocolates, have released a new product, simply titled 'Quality Street Favourites'.

The Strawberry Delight is one of the firsts to have the favourite treatment, with a whole bag dedicated to the chocolate with a strawberry fondant centre.

One surprised shopper posted a photo of the sweets onto a popular Facebook community group, dedicated to new foods across the UK. The buyer wrote: "Bags of Strawberry Delight Quality Street now available at B&M Stores", alongside a love heart eyes emoji.

However, over 7,000 comments argued that other sweets in the purple tin deserved more attention than the strawberry treats, as the replies flooded in. One Facebook user wrote: "Nooo - coffee cream for me. So hard to come by."

Another said: "A bag of triangles would be amazing!"

And a third wrote: "Should have been a bag off lush caramel barrels & then I'd be super happy!"

More comments read: "B***** hell who would want a bag of the strawberry ones?! I thought they were the universal dregs of the quality street tin."

While others commented: "Can we get bags of orange creams and toffee fingers also please!"

Meanwhile, one joked: "Finally you can throw them all In the bin at once."

Another added: "A bag of coffee creams would be awesome!"

Further replies read: "Gross, why would you want a bag of the worst ones strawberry cream..."

More added: "Ooh the only one I like in quality street!"

And finally, one concluded: "I loved quality Street and strawberry creams was one of my favourites."
