The consumer watchdog gave advice to shoppers, who may end up paying hundreds of pounds more for their shopping each year.

The new checklist, released today, shows that households will end up spending £10.20 more each week at a Sainsbury’s Local rather than a regular Sainsbury’s supermarket.
