A retail worker has been charged with sexual assault after allegedly luring a woman into the office of a Westfield shopping centre store in Canberra.
ACT Police said the 28-year-old man from Phillip closed the store's security shutters about 5pm on November 3 before taking photographs of a woman while she was out of public view.
The man, who worked in the Belconnen store, then allegedly encouraged her into a small rear office before sexually assaulting her.
The woman went to hospital after the incident and later notified police, who arrested the man on Friday.
He was charged with one count of engaging in sexual intercourse without consent and was due to face the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday.
