Shocking turn in Lindsay Clancy case during first court appearance after mistrial

  • Prosecutors called the defense's motion laughable, maintaining that Clancy knowingly strangled her children with exercise bands before attempting suicide .
  • Clancy's defense team previously argued she suffered from postpartum psychosis, and they are also seeking an investigation into the lone holdout juror from the original trial.
  • Judge William Sullivan did not immediately rule on the request to dismiss the case, and Plymouth County prosecutors have yet to decide whether to retry Clancy.
