Shields vs Marshall LIVE!
Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall renewed their rivalry in arguably the biggest women’s boxing match of all time in front of a sold-out O2 Arena in London with the undisputed middleweight championship of the world on the line.
This grudge clash was originally supposed to take place last month, only to be postponed following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It was American fighter Shields who came out on top after ten fantastic rounds in the capital, Marshall giving as good as he got but unable to match her rival’s stunning accuracy and energy.
A historic female-only card saw the undercard topped by Alycia Baumgardner claiming a controversial split decision win over Mikaela Mayer to become the unified super-featherweight champion.
