Sheriff's officers to wear cameras as incident captured

A state's sheriff's officers will use body-worn cameras on the job, as footage of a dramatic courtroom incident captured during a pilot program has been released.

The trial, which took place across NSW in 2024, was introduced to help deter aggressive behaviour towards sheriff's officers and help them feel safer at work.
