ITV viewers were keen to tune into new drama No Return on Monday evening, but it wasn't long before they spotted a blunder.
The four-part series follows Kathy Powell (played by Sheridan Smith) and her family ,who go on holiday to Turkey.
Episode one wasted no time in kicking off the drama and Kathy's 16-year-old son Noah (Louis Ashbourne Serkis) was arrested within the first 10 minutes.
It soon becomes apparent that Noah has been accused of sexually assaulting another boy after attending a party.
While viewers were instantly gripped by the first episode, others couldn't help but point out a rather epic filming blunder.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Supposed to be turkey filmed in spain lol. Some scenes in studio in Manchester #NoReturn (sic)."
Another posted: "Don’t kid is this ain’t Turkey this is clearly Spain! #NoReturn (sic)."
Someone else tweeted: "What’s the point of it being set in Turkey but then filming it in Spain, literally makes no sense #noreturn."
Another viewer added: "#Noreturn @Sheridansmith1 @ ITV can’t believe you say it’s Turkey when it’s actually Benalmadena in Spain."
A different person claimed: "Fun fact, this was not filmed in turkey, not entirely, it was filmed in Nerja Spain, as we saw filming going on while there last September :) looked good though #noreturn."
Sheridan previously spoke out about filming No Return and admitted the role was extremely tough after becoming a parent herself.
"Playing roles before I had Billy to playing ones now I’ve had him is totally different," Sheridan previously told The Mirror.
"People had said you can’t understand the protectiveness and the overwhelming fear when you have a child and he’s not even two yet, but I feel it.
"I hope it will resonate with the audience, they’ll be feeling all the angst as well. It’s every parent’s worst nightmare. I love playing protective mums like that. Kathy is a lioness."
All four episodes of No Return are available to watch on ITV Hub and BritBox. Episodes on ITV will continue to broadcast weekly.
