A sheep was saved from falling to its death after a rescuer grabbed it with one hand as it jumped off the side of a cliff.
A video released by the RSPCA shows how Animal Rescue Officer Dean Wilkins abseiled 30 metres down the Great Orme in Llandudno to reach the ewe which had been trapped on a narrow ledge for several days.
However, as he drew near the animal panicked and tried to escape, forcing Officer Wilkins to have to cling on to her fleece one-handed to prevent her falling hundreds of feet to the ground.

His colleague, RSPCA inspector Mike Pugh, then arrived to help deliver the ewe to its owner - a local farmer who'd been monitoring the situation - before she was reunited safe and sound with the rest of the flock.
Its believed the Herdwick sheep had initially been chased onto the cliffside by a dog, prompting the RSPCA to appeal to pet owners to ensure their animals are always on a lead when around livestock.
Officer Wilkins told The Daily Post : "I've been doing these sorts of rescues with the team for about three years, but this was the first time I had actually physically caught the animal.
"Given the narrow ledge the ewe was on, we approached extremely cautiously so as not to spook her, but seconds after I had got hold of her she jumped. So I suddenly found myself clinging onto her woolly coat with one hand.
“Everything just happened really fast, although I do remember thinking that I couldn't hold on for much longer and was super relieved when Mike got down to help."
