Sharon Osbourne teases King Charles' Coronation role with cryptic social media post

Sharon Osbourne has headed home to Blighty - and teased she's ready for a role at next week's Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

The popular TV presenter, 70, shared a stunning snap of London's scenery from the skies to her Instagram alongside a simple three emoji caption - an aeroplane, Union Jack flag, and king's crown.

The city was lit up at night as Mrs O perfectly captured Tower Bridge in all its beauty perched across the River Thames.

Fans quickly praised the eccentric star for capturing such a shot, while others treated her to messages of a warm "welcome home".

While Sharon has continued to discuss her and hubby Ozzy Osbourne's plans to permanently return to their native land, the crown symbol led to speculation as to whether the duo have been invited to the ceremony for the new King.

However, a source close to Sharon has told the Mirror Sharon has "no plans" in place for her visit and simply has a home in the UK.

Sharon has been open in her praise for the Royal Family in the past, including saying she was happy Camilla had "won the public over".

She told TalkTV last October that Queen Camilla had her respect. "I really respect her, I think that she's a very brave woman," she said.

"And I think that she has done incredibly well in the last few years, incredibly well. She has won the public over with her dignity and the work that she does, and I just really respect her and I adore..."

In the same chat, Mrs O's family's personal letter from the now King was discussed.

Sharon added: "Listen, when my husband got sick, he [Charles] wrote to him. I mean, he knows what’s going on in the world. He is not removed.

"He knows what’s going on in his country, and that’s what I love about him. He isn’t removed."

Revealing what was said in the letter, Sharon continued: "Well, he’s the same age as Ozzy, so he gets it. And he said, you know, 'We’ve done very well so far, and this is just a little hurdle.'"

It was then insinuated Ozzy's path had been slightly different to the King's, to which Sharon joked: "My husband is The Prince Of Darkness!"
