We would like to find out more about what women think about Saoirse Ronan’s comments on the Graham Norton Show about women’s safety.

During the episode, Eddie Redmayne talked about self-defence training for the film The Day of the Jackal which included how to use a phone as a weapon.

Paul Mescal questioned how someone would have time to take their phone out while being attacked, to the amusement of Graham Norton and Denzel Washington, before Ronan said: “That’s what girls have to think about all the time. Am I right ladies?”

How do you feel about the clip and to what extent do you agree with what Ronan said?
