NEW DELHI: Veteran Indian table tennis player Sharath Kamal made a significant leap in the ITTF World Rankings, surging 54 places to claim the 34th spot. This rise comes on the heels of his impressive quarter-final finish at the Singapore Smash tournament last week.

Sharath had maintained a position within the top-50 for an extended period before experiencing a series of early exits that saw him drop in the rankings.
