Shaquille O’Neal was a proud father on Thursday night.
In the opening segment of TNT’s Inside the NBA, O’Neal welcomed his daughter Me’Arah on the broadcast to celebrate her being named a 2024 McDonald’s All-American for starring on the court.
“First of all, I just wanted to say I’m so proud of you and I love you,” O’Neal said. "I wanted to present you with this.”
O’Neal then unveiled Me’Arah’s All-American jersey as Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley and host Adam Lefkoe watched in the background.
The younger O’Neal thanked her dad, grabbed a basketball nearby and splashed a three-pointer on the set. On national television.
That’s some All-American talent right there.

Me’Arah, who will graduate from Episcopal High School in Houston this spring, is committed to play for coach Kelly Rae Finley at Florida next season.
But first, she’ll play in the McDonald’s All-American Game—just like her father did in 1989.
