Shania Twain has announced a new UK and Ireland tour, along with a brand-new album.
The Grammy-winning country artist, 57, confirmed her new tour on Friday as she revealed along with it, the name of her upcoming sixth album Queen of Me, released on February 3, 2023.
This is her first record since 2017, and the tour will accompany a fresh track list of songs from the project as it kicks off on September 16 at London’s O2 Arena.
A new song from the country singer named Last Days of Summer has been released ahead of the album, giving fans a tease of what’s to come. This follows Twain’s single Waking Up Dreaming, which headed straight the BBC Radio 2 playlist upon release.
Fans in the UK and Ireland will be delighted at the chance to see the singer in concert again, after almost five years since she last appeared here on tour.
Twain is the most successful female country artist in history, having sold over 100 million album sales worldwide and 330 million streams in the UK alone. Her third album Come on Over, released in 1997, remains the country’s 15th biggest-selling album of all time.
The new album will be available for pre-order before 4pm on November 1 from the official store linked here, and fans who place their order will also receive a pre-sale code for the 2023 tour tickets.
Additionally, Twain and Live Nation have announced that £/€1.50 per ticket sold (minus deductions for tax and royalties) will be donated to Shania Kids Can (SKC), a non-profit charity established by Twain in 2010.
SKC promotes positive change for children suffering from various crises and economic hardship, by providing one-on-one consultations, academic support and group activities, as well as nutritious snacks and meal programmes in a safe environment.

The Queen of Me tour will see Twain perform in Dublin, Glasgow and Manchester before it wraps up in Birmingham on Tuesday September 26.
Speaking on her upcoming tour, Twain said on Instagram: “I’m unbelievably excited to announce ‘Queen of Me’ - the new album and tour.
“These days, I’m feeling very comfortable in my own skin - and I think this album reflects that musically. I want to celebrate this new chapter with you all on my tour! This one’s gonna be a big party - no inhibitions, no conditions, let’s get a little out of line!!”
