Shane Warne's daughter shares heartbreaking tribute one month after his passing

Shane Warne 's daughter, Brooke, has paid tribute to her father on social media one month after his tragic passing.

Warne passed away at the age of just 52 on March 4 after suffering a heart attack while on holiday in Koh Samui, Thailand. And Warne's eldest daughter Brooke has shared a heartbreaking tribute on her Instagram story.

She posted an image of the legendary Australian spinner with the family's dog, Mason. Brooke captioned the picture "One month without our shining star Dad", before adding the heartbroken emoji.

A state funeral was held for Warne last month at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, with his three children all delivering emotional eulogies.

They also officially unveiled the new Shane Warne Stand, which has replaced the Great Southern Stand.

"My Dad just wanted to be the best Dad he could be," Brooke said. "He would always want to play games, take us to parks, watch movies, and chill around the house.

"At the end of the day, he just wanted to be our Dad. He wanted to be a part of our lives in every possible way. We were so lucky.

"I already miss you, Dad. I feel like you’re on holiday, because you were always working out of Australia, but I know that’s not the case. But what makes me the saddest is, I will never get to wrap my arms around you and give you the biggest hug and rest my chin on your chest.

"Dad was our shining star in life and now he’s shining down on all of us. We will do you so proud, Dad and we are so proud of everything you have achieved.

"We’re going to do what you always told us - try our best and we will try our best to live in a world without you. I love you always, Dad."
