Brian McLaughlin is set to leave the Scottish FA and his roles as Scotland under-17s head coach and performance school manager.
He has been in the role with the under-17s for nine years, and helped bring through first team stars such as Billy Gilmour, Nathan Patterson, Aaron Hickey, Connor Barron, Ben Gannon-Doak, Lennon Miller, James Wilson and Tyler Fletcher.
McLaughlin was head coach in the performance school at Holyrood Secondary for five years before becoming manager of the entire programme in 2018.
The Scottish FA's chief football officer Craig Mulholland said: "Brian has offered a huge amount to young players in Scotland through his extensive tenure as Under-17s Head Coach and as Performance School Manager and we'd like to offer our thanks for his service to the game.

"Brian's professionalism and knowledge has played an important role in developing young talents that have made an impact at the highest level with our National Team.

McLaughlin said: "It has been an incredible privilege to serve Scottish football in a variety of roles. I leave with immense gratitude for the experiences, friendships and opportunities that have shaped my journey.
"Working with Scotland's best young players has been the greatest honour of my career, and I hope I have helped them in some small way. I leave with wonderful memories and great optimism for the future of Scottish football.
