SFA confirm new Scotland Euro 2024 tickets sale date

The Scottish Football Association have confirmed that tickets will officially go on sale for Euro 2024 tomorrow at 12pm.

It comes after the governing body admitted to an error when sending out purchase codes to Scotland Supporters' Club members.

Only members with 12 or more points are eligible to buy tickets for the major tournament at this stage of the ticket sale. However, it seems that members with 11 points or less were mistakenly also permitted the chance to buy tickets at 12pm today.

The SFA had confirmed the sale of tickets for the matches against Germany, Switzerland and Hungary would be delayed until further notice.

However, fans with 12 or more points will now be able to buy their tickets from lunchtime tomorrow.

The governing body have been heavily criticised by the Tartan Army over the delay.

Taking to X, @DSStrachan wrote: "You had one job. As for the current sales schedule, it’s a joke. It should be revised and done on points exactly as it was for Euro 2020. A farce that some members on 20+ points will end up with a €600 ticket. Totally defeats the point in the entire points system."

@haggart_tracy said: "People cleared work diaries etc for this slot and now potentially in a position where they will be unavailable for a new last-minute slot. How can mistakes of this magnitude be made? The fans deserve better."

While One_F_in_Finn added: "You need to introduce a tiered sales approach; this is unacceptable."
