Severe delays are expected to be caused by the 12-week partial closure of a busy Nottingham road. Derby Road between the Queen's Medical Centre roundabout and Priory roundabout will be closed from Monday, January 9 for 12 weeks whilst gas works take place.
Due to the nature of the diversion route and expected traffic levels, severe delays are expected throughout, according to NCT Buses. Two NCT bus services will also have to divert due to the closure.
Due to the closure, Orange 35 towards Bulwell will divert via Clifton Boulevard, University Boulevard and Woodside Road. Orange 36 towards Chilwell will divert via Clifton Boulevard and University Boulevard to resume normal route from Broadgate.
