It’s taken 1,331 days, out-lasted three U.K. Prime Ministers and tested the patience of everyone associated with the Premier League, but the judgement is in: Manchester City are guilty.
The Premier League gleefully reveled in victory (which is still subject to an appeal from a club which defiantly describes itself as “innocent”) with a statement that used the term “sham” like a child who had learned a new word.
