Chelsea have won just one game in their last 10 matches in all competitions as pressure continues to mount on Graham Potter. The most recent defeat in the Premier League against Southampton saw fans boo their team off the pitch at Stamford Bridge as frustrations boiled over.
Many feel that if Roman Abramovich was still the Blues' owner then Potter would already have been sacked despite only taking charge of the club in September last year. Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have, so far, stood by their appointment and are continuing to back Potter through a difficult period.
The sheer amount of new signings that have arrived at Stamford Bridge will take time to settle in and adjust to what they're being asked to do in the team. football.london understands Boehly and Eghbali – for now – remain supportive of Potter and his job isn't under immediate threat.

There remains a strong appreciation for the manager's work behind the scenes at Cobham, where a conciliatory environment has been fostered, while Potter's even-tempered public persona is valued. Many fans were left upset when Tuchel was sacked just days after the summer transfer window had closed, but the decision came after a 100-day review was held by the ownership.
Now, with pressure on Potter growing week after week and recent results testing the new ownership's resolve, a number of managers have been tipped to replace the 47-year-old. Here are the favourites to replace Potter at Stamford Bridge, as per Betfair.
Betfair: Next permanent Chelsea manager
- Mauricio Pochettino: 6/5
- Zinedine Zidane: 6/1
- Pep Guardiola: 15/2
- Brendan Rodgers: 9/1
- Diego Simeone: 12/1
- Thomas Tuchel: 14/1
- Jose Mourinho: 16/1
Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is still without a job after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, but there may be concerns if he was appointed given his ties to Chelsea's London rivals. Zinedine Zidane is also without a job at present and recently revealed he would be keen on returning to management in the near future.
Possible returns for Thomas Tuchel and Jose Mourinho are amongst the many options Todd Boehly could pursue if Potter is sacked. Diego Simeone has long been linked with a move to the Premier League given his past success at Atletico Madrid and his unique defensive play style.
Other managers tipped to replace Potter include Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers, who worked under Mourinho during his time at Chelsea. The Blues boss is also the favourite to become the next Premier League manager to lose their job, according to Betfair.
Betfair: Next Premier League manager to leave
- Graham Potter: 4/11
- David Moyes: 3/1
- Gary O'Neil: 7/1
- Antonio Conte: 10/1
- No Manager To Leave: 11/1
- Patrick Vieira: 14/1
