Former Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos has advised Harry Kane not to turn down the opportunity to join the Spanish club if they pursue his signature during the summer transfer window.
Madrid are going to be on the hunt for a new striker this summer after announcing on Sunday that legendary forward Karim Benzema will leave the Bernabeu when his contract expires at the end of this month. Tottenham Hotspur ace Kane, who is Manchester United's top target to strengthen their forward options this summer, has immediately been installed as one of the favourites to succeed Benzema.
Kane, who plundered 32 goals in all competitions for Spurs this season, is out of contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 12 months and United are determined to lure him to Old Trafford ahead of next season. The Reds are desperate to strengthen their attacking options and manager Erik ten Hag, as reported by the Manchester Evening News, has earmarked the England captain as his main target.

Despite that, United are working under the assumption that the London club will not sell Kane this summer, and are continuing to assess other options. However, Madrid's anticipated interest in the striker means that could, at some stage, generate a potential bidding war.
Whatever happens, Ramos, who spent 16 years at Madrid, believes Kane should be tempted by the opportunity to make the move to the Spanish capital if the European heavyweights come calling for his signature.
"My advice to any player is don't turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid – it is a special club who know how to win," said Ramos, as quoted by the Mirror.
"He (Kane) has an incredible physical presence, you can’t score as many goals as he does in the Premier League and not be able to play the physical side of the game. But also he can play the technical side of the game as well and I don't think he gets enough credit for that. Yes, he is a great scorer but also he is a great football player as well."
