Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United exit has been confirmed.
The Argentine departs the Whites after more than three-and-a-half years in charge - his longest stint at any club - following a period of poor form that has seen them plunged into a relegation battle.
Yet Bielsa's exit is a sad moment for the club, such was the way he revolutionised things at Elland Road after his 2018 appointment, leading the side to a famous return to the Premier League.
Bielsa transformed the club, taking performances to a new level and rebuilding the way players such as Kalvin Phillips saw the game.
It means Bielsa will rank highly in the clubs' all-time list of managers, with fans particularly taken with his inimitable style both on and off the pitch.
Stories of him being spotted in Costa Coffee or doing his grocery shopping in his training gear may live just as long in the memory as the swashbuckling Bielsa-ball football played during his time in charge.
It means there will be plenty of Whites fans left heavy-hearted by his departure, with even the side's poor recent form coming with the caveat that Bielsa was having to deal with lots of injuries.
