Joint Letter from Senators Urges President Biden to Pressure Hamas for New Hostage Deal

In a bold and unexpected move, Republican Senator Ji Ernst of Iowa and Democratic Senator Jackie Rosen of Nevada have joined forces to send a joint letter to President Biden, urging him to take strong action against Hamas in order to secure a new hostage deal. The senators are calling on the President to leverage U.S.-Qatar relations to pressurize Hamas and bring them back to the negotiating table.
