See how well you'd do with some of the trickiest questions on Ireland's driving theory test

One of the best milestones in any person's life is when they get the tick from a driving instructor after they pass their driving test.

In Ireland before you're allowed to get behind the wheel by yourself you must do at least 12 RSA approved driving lessons and be driving with an accompanied driver for at least six months before you can book your driving test.

But to even get to that point, you have to pass the dreaded theory test.

While many feel this is one of the easier parts, the test is definitely a good indicator of how well you know the rules of the road.

To pass the driver theory test you need to get at least 35 out of 40 but we've put together just 10 to test your knowledge.

However, they are 10 of the tougher answers - though you may be able to guesstimate your way through if you really have to.

So whether you've never driven, or currently learning or have been on the road for years at this stage, here's the chance to see how much you know or remember from the all important test.
