Security review after deadly mental health escapes

Major changes are being demanded to better protect mental health patients and the community after two men fled psychiatric care before allegedly killing three people in separate incidents.

NSW officials have promised a security review after confirming the driver charged over a police pursuit that ended in two deaths on Saturday had fled Australia's largest mental health facility on February 8.
