Section of A77 in Ayrshire to be closed for weekend to undergo essential maintenance

A section of the A77 near Girvan will be closed for a full weekend next week for road repairs.

Essential maintenance on the A77 at Shalloch Mill, south of Girvan, will see a full weekend closure of this section of the carriageway, from 7pm on Friday, November 18 until 6am on Monday, November 21.

A signed diversion will be in operation as the £222,229 scheme by Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South-West Trunk Road Unit, gets underway.
