SEC recruiting rankings after UGA’s latest 5-star commit

The Georgia Bulldogs recently gained a big commitment from five-star defensive end Elijah Griffin. The Bulldogs have four commitments from five-star recruits in the class of 2025, which is tied for the most in the country with the Texas Longhorns and Alabama Crimson Tide.

Georgia has 23 commitments in the class of 2025 following Griffin’s commitment. The Bulldogs have the second-ranked recruiting class in the SEC. Georgia has three five-star commitments in the front seven: Griffin, linebacker Zayden Walker and edge rusher Isaiah Gibson.

Most of the SEC has remained relatively stagnant in recruiting during the season. However, we are entering a season of change ahead of the early signing period.

The Alabama Crimson Tide have the No. 1 recruiting class in the SEC in Year 1 of the Kalen DeBoer era despite some on-the-field struggles. The SEC has seven of the top eight recruiting classes in college football. The SEC is comfortably the best recruiting conference in the nation.
