Rumoured I'm A Celebrity contestant Seann Walsh could find himself facing showdown talks with ITV before his jungle experience has even begun - after reportedly making an explicit joke about This Morning 's Phillip Schofield.
Comedian Seann is said to have told the gag live on stage during his new stand-up tour and also poked fun at Phillip and his co-host Holly Willoughby over their 'Queuegate' row.
The nature of Seann's rude joke, which has chosen to not be printed by Mirror Online, concerned the 'double standards' over the reaction of his kiss with his 2018 Strictly Come Dancing professional partner Katya Jones, and Phil coming out as gay, it has been reported.
In front of fans at Sudbury's Quay Theatre, he also quipped: "What are the rules? I don’t get it!"
A jungle insider told The Sun Seann’s jokes were 'a bit close to home'.
They added: "Seann has been offered a huge opportunity by ITV to appear on the jungle.
"It isn’t a great look now he is making shocking jokes about one of the broadcaster’s biggest stars.
"Seann should not be biting the hand that feeds him – even if it is through the guise of a joke."
Seann and Katya were caught snogging during their time on the BBC 1 show, before later playing it down as a drunken mistake.
The incident resulted in the end of Seann's relationship with partner Rebecca Humphries, while Katya split from husband Neil Jones months later.
At the time Phil was vocal in his condemnation of them, saying the "hideously public" smooch made the whole thing even sadder.
He said: "What makes this really sad is that it's been soo hideously public, but can you forgive a drunken kiss? Was it just a drunken kiss?"
He later added: "He has got a girlfriend at home and it's her birthday... well she thought it was ok for her to be there... in other relationships you could very well be sitting there on the sofa thinking, 'he'll be home a little bit later on and it will be great.'
"There is no question, you have the all-powerful, all-knowing professional, the vulnerable celebrity and it's passionate, it's steamy."
Mirror Online has contacted ITV and Phil's reps for comment.
