Seann Walsh is showing signs of insecurity and struggles while appearing on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! according to Nicola McLean.
The former glamour model who appeared in the 2008 series of the ITV reality programme claims that the comedian isn't handling jungle life as well as some of his campmates.
However, she believes it may be due to his desire to sway the public's perception of him following his Strictly Come Dancing infidelity scandal.
Nicola, 41, said: "He's struggling, isn't he? And I might be wrong but I feel like after he was caught on Strictly kissing his partner and the press annihilated him and rightly so.
"But I feel like he wants to be liked, he's gone on there as a last resort and he needs to turn the public around and he seems very insecure."
But viewers saw a different side to Seann on Tuesday night as he, Boy George and Mike Tindall volunteered for the infamous Grot Yoga Bushtucker Trial.
Despite screams from Walsh, who was pelted by things including fish guts, the trio returned to camp with full stars.
Speaking to the Daily Star, the mum-of-two went on to add: "Chris [Moyles] also tried to have banter with him it didn't work.
"I mean, he didn't do anything that horrific, people make mistakes."
But Nicola who is no stranger to reality telly also believes radio broadcaster Chris Moyles may be given his marching orders from the jungle sometime soon after showing his "bitter" side.
"I think Chris is in danger and I like Chris, I've met him and he was fun, he was kind to me, but I feel something is going on with Chris," she said.
Nicola went on to say: "He seems bitter I don't know how to explain it maybe something going on the outside that he's not telling us about and he's worried about something because he's not enjoying it and that's a shame."
The star added that viewers may not be seeing the real Chris who she explains is a "big character" which she states is a shame.
Earlier this week, it was reported that I'm A Celeb bosses were left with headaches after being forced to edit out light-hearted comments made by Chris towards host Ant McPartlin.
These included quips about his alcohol struggles as well as his drink driving crash.
