Nottingham Forest forward set for 'goodbye'

Nottingham Forest striker Hwang Ui-jo is reportedly set to bid farewell to Olympiacos after a disappointing loan spell.

The South Korea international arrived at the City Ground from Bordeaux for around £4million, becoming the Reds’ 17th signing of the summer. He was immediately sent on loan to Evangelos Marinakis-owned Olympiacos, after scoring 11 goals and producing two assists in Ligue 1 last term.

Though it doesn’t appear things have gone to plan for Ui-jo during his time in Piraeus. The Forest forward has made 10 appearances across all competitions, registering one assist, and Olympiacos are claimed to be cutting his season-long loan short, according to reports in Greece.

Nottingham Forest have announced an extension of their partnership with E.ON - prompting some fans to speculate the company could become the club's new shirt sponsor.

Forest initially joined forces with the UK's largest energy provider last season during their Championship campaign. The organisation's aim is to raise awareness of climate change and to make individuals consider simple ways to make a difference in their every day life.

The Reds have now extended their partnership with the company throughout the 2022/23 Premier League season. Meanwhile, Forest remain without a shirt sponsor after turning down a "multi-million pound offer" from former shirt sponsors BOXT.

Forest were 'interested' in signing Leeds star

Nottingham Forest were reportedly interested in signing Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville in the summer transfer window .
