The series, which premiered on December 2, dives into Diddy’s business dealings, public controversies, and ongoing legal battles and it has sparked an immediate wave of reaction from both the streaming platform and the rapper’s legal team.
According to reports, Combs’ attorneys sent Netflix a legal warning accusing the series of being unfair and using footage without proper permission. They also claimed the documentary contained “false information” along with private details that should not have been made public. The letter further alleged that Netflix approached 50 Cent only after Diddy rejected an earlier proposal because it would have required him to relinquish creative control.
